Aeris Atmos 2 On/Off

After a dive is there a way to shut the unit off without it going into the surface mode or do I just have to wait until it shuts off?

You have to wait, but if it really bugs you, send it to me, by the time it gets here it should be off and I'll have a backup to my Atmos 2. I wondered the same thing when I got mine.

nope... if you go below 5 feet, it will take 24 hours to shut off

but don't worry too much.. the Atmos 2 battery lasts for ever, and ever

and then some

and you can get it for under $4.00 at Radio Shack... and you can change
it in about a minute

If you take the battery out that will turn it off. Works really well if the computer has locked you out as well,but thats probably not such a good idea
