I was wondering if any of you hae experience with the Aeris 300G and if so how do you like it, or if you don't own one but have some input anyway I would love to hear it.

I apologize for not having enough time for a longer answer, but I would also encourage you to check out the Suunto Vyper. To me it has some better features than the 300G and you might be more satisfied in the longer run.

I'll see if I can't have more on the specific of the Aeris later.

I used a 300G for about a year. It was great. There are two drawbacks with this computer. You have to turn it on before you jump in, and you You need to carry an extra set of batteries. I think it used 2033 watch batteries.
I enjoyed the very user-friendly interface, the FUNCTIONAL backlight (it actuallly works, well), and the very liberal setting. If you want a super-conservative computer, buy something else!!
