Advise: Best place/s to eat @ panglao

Lost Horizon is my favorite. It's on the beach and the food is great, not too expensive. Most of the dive shops have cheap dive logs, you're not the first to need one.

As for accomodations, I stay at Alonaland, cheap and good. Get a kitchenette, save a bundle on meals. Rent a bike and get fresh food at the village market. I've done this on many trips, it's so fun to cook your own fresh fish and eat it on the porch. I like to use their barbecue for fish too. mmmmm.....

I'll be in the Phils July 10-29, can't wait!!

However, my filipino friends do warn me that beef is suspect. It can be from cut from animals that died, were not slaughtered. Their term is "dead fall".
