Hello: I will be in Fiji for about 10 days next month. I have reviewed prior posts, but if anyone can provide current opinions for their favorite dive ops and restaurants it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for responses.

PS. If there is a good market/grocery store in area that would be helpful too.

Thanks John

Hi John

Just back from Pacific Harbour, stayed at Uprising in beach front bure which was awesome. Food at Uprising was very average but didn't matter $2 taxi ride takes you to the Pearl where the food was really nice. Pearl had special menus/themes each night, very fair prices too. There is a minimart in Pacific harbour where you can buy basic groceries. Aquatrek are easy to get too and are friendly, BAD Divers are located inland in a closed down resort (weird) but it doesn't matter much as they'll pick you up from your accomm. There is a small shopping village with a couple of restaurants - go with very low expectations.

Spent 10 days in Pac. Harbour had a great time but if I had my time again I would go for 5 days and have 5 days on an island. Shark diving was out of this world, do aquatrek and b.a.d. - probably 1 day with each will be enough. Their soft coral dives were nice but not spectacular imho

fiji is so cruisey and easy to travel, good luck you should have a ball
