Hi,

My wife and I are booked to go to Cayo Guillermo in October, we're after information on what the diving is like there. We've recently got the Lonely Planet book on diving in Cuba, which implies that Varadero is much better due to the wrecks that have been sunk there. We're thinking about changing our holiday, but would welcome any tips from anyone who has been there (the hotel don't seem able to respond).

As background we're both AOW with 50+ dives and have dived the reefs of Southern Egypt and the wrecks of Northern Egypt if that helps as a guide to the things we've seen.

This is not a purely diving holiday as we wish to go to Havana, but we'll get 10-20 dives in and if the Cayo's are rubbish would rather switch.

Thanks in advance.

Paul & Jo
