Spoolin, don't worry about the 13X evaporating any water. That stuff would rather explode than give up a drop of moisture. Sieve can draw and retain moisture through a sealed plastic bag. It will trap and lose a small amount of CO2.

Either way you should have the backpressure reg on the rix output to keep pushrod and piston contact, as the final stage piston is not connected to the piston rod.

After reading this and other threads on compressors i came across this article that for me explained a lot, as far as what goes on in the compressor system. Read and decide for your selves. Perhaps this should be a thread of its own.
