After waiting for my subscription to start, I just got my first issue of Advanced Diver Magazine. I have to say this mag. rocks. It is printed on beautiful glossy paper. The photography and layout are superb. It's like looking at National Geographic. Much of the style of diving while beyond my ability now, only speaks of the adventures that I would someday like to be qualified to do. I have bought all the other diving mags. numerous times. No other dive publication can compare to what Curt Bowen and the rest of the contributers do. I admit that I do like Dive Training, but for very different reasons. If you haven't seen a copy, then try to find an LDS or someone who has a subscription. You will be blown away.

I can only agree. Curt Bowen is a talented graphic artist and photographer, he does all the illustrations and much of the photography himself. It's a wonder he has time to dive.

ADM is an awesome magazine. I impatiently await it's every issue. Problem is, I can't put the thing down when I get it, so it doesn't take long before I'm wait mode again. lol

I get it 'cuz it features articles by my friend and sometimes-dive-buddy John Rawlings ... but overall I think it's the best dive magazine available ... :D

No I had not seen this. WOW! It's gorgeous. Thanks for the link. Looks like I'll be subscribing to two magazines this year. I just hope that they don't arrive on the same week or month.

I wasn't aware of this mag, but will check it out. My sister gave me a subscription to Fathoms for Christmas last year (hope she renews it for this year!).

Happy holidays to all.
