I bought an XDeep Zen BP/W about a week ago and I think I am doing something wrong in adjusting it.

I bought the deluxe version with the adjustable harness but I think that even with the straps tightened to a maximum it is still way to low on my back.

Please look at the pictures and tell me what you think. I tightened the straps as far as I could before the fotos were taken. Xdeep Zen users probably know at a glance!

Your plate looks too low to me. You should be able to reach over your back and touch the top edge of the plate without huge strain or contortions. The D rings are also much too low but I think you have that figured out.

My 2 cents...I think the wing is mounted on the plate in the wrong holes. Judging by your waist strap position, the plate looks correct. Just my opinion and with BPW's you'll change it several times over the 1st dozen dives till you get where you love it.

I checked that and found that it is mounted in the topmost holes.
I figured that moving it to lower holes would only move the wing in the wrong direction.

A regular plate would be sitting a couple of inches higher with the waist belt in the same spot.
