At the end of 2020, after a two-week diving safari, I was for the second time for almost 10 days in the southernmost atoll of the Maldives.

This time I grabbed the scooter and drove it to the northernmost tip of the atoll. There is the Addu Nature Park and the largest city in the atoll, Hithadoo. The atoll offers a good mix of nature, local life and of course lots of sea. The atoll is now also beginning to grow, so there is now a new resort island in the northeast and a large police training center is currently being built on Addu itself. I summarized the trip in a drone video.

Underwater: This time I visited the already known reefs, Kandus, Manta Point and the wreck. There were also new things to discover, such as recently discovered and hidden coral fields or diving under a tuna fish boat with plenty of shark action. Due to the general situation, we were 99% alone at the diving spots.
