Adding analog compass to Suunto Cobra 2?

I recently picked up a second hand Suunto Cobra 2 along with a reg set I purchased. It seems that it'll be a good starter, however I would really like an analog compass. Looking around, others do appear to have one. Is it possible to bolt one on after the fact or would it require a housing replacement?
