Add Links in a Post
The first step is to find the Web page you want to include a link to in your post. This example is for a post on ScubaBoard, but you can also go to any Web page and copy the URL from the address bar on your Internet Browser.
Then start a new thread or post and enter your message and follow these steps:
- Let your mouse pointer hover over the "Share this post" icon until the dialog box pops
- Click the Insert ink icon
- Paste the URL into the URL box (Ctrl+V). You can also choose to change the text that displays as a hyperlink before clicking the Insert button.
You have the option to edit the Link after it is inserted. Click on the Link and this menu will pop (before posting): These options are available:
- Open link
- Edit link
- Unlink
The post will look something like this:
Another way to link to a add a Link to a ScubaBoard post is to create an "Unfurl". Just paste the link on a blank line and ScubaBoard does the rest of the work:
