Looking to upgrade my video system and planning to buy a L&M Stingray G2 housing for my Sony CX550V. I want to continue using my NiteRider HID lights with the new housing and am looking for an adapter that will allow me to mount a flex arm onto the L&M mount. Any suggestions? TIA.

may i see a picture with your lights ? You need a bolt and a nut and if you have a small adapter you can attache them on the arms. thats the 1st thing that came into my mind. let me know if i can see the lights to find another method ;)

One of these? (I'm guessing)

Light & Motion Quick Release Loc-Line Arm Base (aka Arm Base Spring Lock) [lmi.823.0153.b] - $40.00 : Reef Photo & Video!, The Underwater Photo Pros

Do you have the loc-line arms? What diameter?

L&M can probably sell you an adapter base also as it's what they use in the Stingray travel package with the Sola's.

Or possibly buy a flat base from a Loc-line dealer and modify it.
