I've never rented a car in Coz over the 13 or 14 years I've been visiting but ISIS rental is a name that comes up highly recommended on many Coz boards.

we have been using LessPay for YEARS!! but recently, their Trackers (the little jeep like trucks made by Chevy, used to be made by Geo and called a Trekker)
have been getting worse and worse as far as condition goes & her prices have jumped almost double. I like Ester a lot and hate to jump ship on her, but my wife's safety outweighs any loyalty I might have to the company.

the vehicles from them have always run great. I have never been stranded due to mechanical issues, but last year they had no safety belts, turn signals, mirrors, or anything else that might be considered safety devices working on the vehicle. ... ok, the breaks worked.

I've been trying to find someone that might still have a decent Tracker, but have not been able to find one. I booked a Jeep through ACE. I've seen their vehicles around town, but know nothing about their reputation.

Sharky, what about Bonefish? Aren't those the guys from the old LessPay?

Ace sounds like thrifty, little iffy.

The guy said he was overcharged on his credit card $10-20 each time. Could that have been a difference in the exchange rate by the time the card was actually charged?

I've never heard of Bonefish. If it's the old PayLess, I'm a little worried about running into the same safety issues as I had with P.L. I found their FB page, but no website. The jeeps they show have no covers, wonder what else they don't have.

thanks for he heads up. I'd STILL like to find someone who rents decent Chevy Trackers (small jeep like trucks)

I don't know when Bonefish broke off? Before John or after or she kicked them out or what. I don't know what they have, but the Jetta my friend had seemed nice.

Or get over the tracker thing.... :)

but I don't want to get over the Tracker thing!!! :D It's the perfect size vehicle for our purposes ...

... messaged the guys at Bonefish, sent them a request for a Jeep W.
