I just got a MX-10, YS-40 Strobe, close up lens, and caddy off Ebay for $162. The camera is in superb shape. I got very lucky.

This is the type of camera that I always rented and it has been fine for me. I always used the 20mm wide angle lens when I rented.

What is the difference in the "close up" and "wide angle" lens'?

What are some good resources for reading, or DVD's, on UW photography?

TIA.

There is a book called "The New Guide to Sea and Sea" or something close to that. It is very good. It explains all the lenses, the strobe and the camera itself. It's well worth getting for the MX-10.

The closeup lens just lets you use the built-in lens and focus closer. The 20mm is the choice for reef scenes, etc.
