also like to check, recently when I depressed my 2nd stage, it went into free flow mode, what issue would it be and how do I resolve it?

None!
It sounds like it's working like it should be!

if at the surface, it is not tuned properly, tune it properly

If in the water with the mouthpiece down, see above. If in the water with the mouthpiece up, it is working fine.

When I purge more than 2 sec, it's like it continue to free flow... I used to purge my reg, I didn't have this issue till my recent dive... Which I think, it's time for the annual servicing.

But it I am not sure if the tech did a proper job.

Ohhhh. it would be the turning of the 1st stage right? Using the IP gauge right?

yeah, it is on land I am having that issue.

hope he did tune. If not will drop by his shop next week to test, as I do not have a air tank at home.

A dry A700 (and any good reg IMO), sitting in your living room, without a drop of water near you, hook up the reg to a tank and open the tank...

1) It should not freeflow just by the act of opening the tank.

2) on the "dive" mode, if/when you press the purge button, it SHOULD freeflow continuously, it's meant to do that, it means it is working the way it was designed to work.

but it shouldn't maintain that freeflow on land when you release the purge button, and most second stages with adjustment knobs will have a very slight freeflow when the adjustment knob is opened all the way, they are tuned like that.

No tbone, sorry, that's incorrect information.

After pressing purge button, the reg will continue to freeflow, if/when set to "dive" mode, regardless of presence of water.

NO SCUBAPRO regulator I'm aware of will have the slightest freeflow when opened all the way, not the slightest of air coming out. That's something I've observed only on a Oceanic crap reg I've owned, annoying thing actually.

SCUBAPRO A700 Regulator - Dive / PreDive setting (Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist)

Btw, I've been working for a Scubapro Platinum dealer for the last 6-7 years, have been to the reg service clinics and numerous product knowledge seminars.

Everything I've posted here, I did with no uncertain terms.
