I went to BHB for a night (well, dusk) dive last week and had my first real outing with my rig. I have to say I’m very happy with the overall results. I wish that I had understood my focus light a little better, because for some reason I thought the strobe sync port on the Hydra would turn off the red focus light when the strobes fired, but that isn't the case. So a bunch of my photos have a distinct red cast that I had to remove in Lightroom because I didn't have my strobes positioned correctly. Any feedback or constructive criticism welcome.

Hey there, how do you trigger the strobes? Is it via a fiber optic cable or is what you mentioned an electronic sync cable?

It’s fiber optic, triggered by the built in flash on the a6400.
