You say "again." How was Tioman? I have a week before I have to be at a conference in Singapore on June 26, and am trying to find that "perfect place" where I can do some diving (also a newbie) but also see some local sights/culture. Manaden also has been recommended. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Yup. I am going to Tioman on the 10/3, most prob i'll be staying for about 3-4 nights there. I love Tioman, maybe cause of its 'rawness' plus I have made some friends with the islanders and the dive shop staffs. It is beautiful and I need an escapade from the concrete jungle! Will be pleased to have you around..
