Hi there

I have been reading the threads for a few weeks and I have read some interesting stuff as some friends and I have booked to go to the Galapagos next year and it can't come too soon.

I have been diving about 11 years and I am a BSAC Advanced diver / Instructor aalthough I don't do much instructing with just over 600 logged dives mostly UK sea diving, I don't like fresh water.

So that's me and I would like to ask a few questions if that's OK.

A warm welcome to you, Fiona, from the chilly waters near Seattle, USA!

Sea ya!

Welcome to the board. As usual, El Orans is on top of his game and has directed you to some great links. If there is anything I can do for you, just send me a PM.

Hello,

Welcome to scuba board

You sound like an excellent Instructor to me. Some here in the US have less than 200 dives, mostly freshwater practice pits. Be sure to register for the Inst forum and get your badge. :D
