I guess you need the "whiskey and and old hat" cure--recommended for colds but probably works for bruises too. Go to bed with a bottle of your favorite and an old hat. Hang the hat on the bedpost, and drink the whiskey until you see two hats. After you sleep it off your leg will feel much better. Your head maybe not so much...

With the right scotch there is no head problems. Life is to short for cheap scotch or wine
