A Sherwood regulator question

My question is to you divers, who have used a Sherwood regulator. I recently used a Sherwood 2011 Magnum regulator, and I had noticed that I was not geeting ample amount of air, when I would inhale from the regulator. I called Scuba.com, Leisure Pro and several dive shops about this question and I got mixed answers.

I was told that If I purchased the Sherwood SR1 regulator, I would not have that problem and that I would notice a big difference when I inhale, from the SR1. What do you all think? Please give me your opinion?

When I would use my Aqualung Kronos Regulator, I would get plenty of air.

I'd say get it tuned. I have several Sherwoods and have no breathing problems with my "new" 2009 Blizzard or the old 1980's Magnum or the 1970's 4000 down to 130'+.

I don't get the leading edge equipment for anything so I haven't tried the SR1.

An expensive regulator tuned poorly will breathe worse than a cheaper regulator tuned well.
