A question about Broadreach scuba instructors

Hello,

I am considering one of Broadreach courses for my 16 years old daughter this summer. She is already a certified diver (rescue), and she is interested in the combination of diving/hands-on marine biology the course offers.

I am seeking feedback, experiences etc. about the instructors Broadreach uses: are they experienced, safety oriented? Did your son/daughter feel safe, etc.? What ratio instructor/student do the use?

So far she dove only with us as a family and obviously safety is our primary concern, especially if she is going to be a "relatively experienced" diver in a group of beginners.

Ratios are consistent with PADI standards....so like 6 students per instructor. My expierence was that none of them were negligent, however, most are very inexperienced, often only regularly diving during the summer with Broadreach. For example, the instructor leading my trip only had around 100 some career dives, all in relatively tame conditions. I'm of the opinion that one of the crucial pillars of a good instructor is that they regularly challenge themselves doing dives much more demanding than the conditions/levels which they teach. If you're daughter is already a competent diver I wouldn't worry....I'm not sure how they wrangle dozen twelve year olds getting their OW certification though...
