Fellow Texas Swampers and all other concerned divers from outside Texas....... I was surprised and shocked to receive this PM from a friend (Harry A.), that I met just a few years back, he was out at CSSP one day diving. With his permission I quote his note to me of last evening 4/13/10 :

I'm out now, everything is "rewired" internally due to chemo (no I can't dive yet, driving me nuts); I have more out-patient chemo to look forward to while I'm in the database now at Baylor Dallas for a bone marrow transplant which could take 1-5 months to narrow down a donor and get it all going which will entail yet another 30 day hospital stay.
Sure have been missing the camaraderie of diving with my usual gang, please feel free to pass this on to whomever you want. Haven't been on the boards for a while, trying to get my life in order so to speak and gear up for the next plateau that needs to be conquered. I've seen God do a mighty good work in you and He's brought me thus far so I know the future looks good.
Thanks Alan.....stay in touch

As his buddy I and he simply ask of you to leave Harry a though or prayer on this thread, as he will be checking in occassionally on the board, or if you feel better about it, drop him a PM at TXScubaBear.
As I well can testify to, it is SO important to receive kind notes of care and prayers of support. I know God will help Harry pull through this stage of his life, we will see him one day back in the water!
Thanks so much for your time and help........ Texas Swamper and fellow scuba diver, Alan Knappenberger
