As my first post (on this particular forum, at least) I guess I should say hello to all my fellow divers out there. I am located in northern California, but not on the coastal side (although I was born and raised in Santa Cruz). I frequently dive the lakes up near my home (Nevada City) and get to the coast when ever I can (usually during abalone season).

I am enrolled in a Solo Diving class (starts week after next) and hope to get that cert finished by the end of the month - just to have it.

On my way to Tahoe tomorrow to fight the crowds and find some bottom time! Let me know if you're near my area and want to swap stories/ideas about dive site locations.

Tod, Welcome to SB! Good luck with your classes and happy diving!

Glad to have you join us and look forward to seeing you around the forums. PM me if I can help you find your way with them...

Hello there I'm in Sacramento and wondering if you could give me some information on the condition of the lakes you dive? Thanks
