Hi!

I had 4 dives in Alanya last october, VIS was fine, nice rock formations, ask for cave/tunnel dives (wasn't a great deal, but fun, with a good DM). Concerning fishlife and corals, I was a bit disappointed after diving Great Barrier Reef in Oz, and in SE Asia. Don't expect much on this side... and I guess that must be the same for most of the mediterranean.

There are still some things to see, but i would advise you to take tec dives such as cave or wreck if you can. Double check equipment and staff, as well as your dive plan...as far as i remember, on my first dive, the DM wanted to dive in a hurry and almost pushed me in the water without my weight belt  !!! I changed operator, and the next 2 dives were the best (including cave)...

enjoy!
:eek:ut:
