Diving the Mr Bud

:confined: Get out of the jar!

Well here I am eating breakfast at FI and it is still pouring rain. :shakehead:

Our flight yesterday was uneventful until we tried to land. As we descended all we saw was white. Couldn't see the ground or the runway and the Pilot decided to abort. We were supposed to go around for a 2nd try but then they decided to fly us to Belize instead. That was fun - not. The weather there was great. After about an hour wait and refuelling we were off for a 2nd try. It was fine this time but raining hard.

3 hours later we arrived at FI and they had held lunch for us. Not for me I think but for the Scuba2000 group from Richmond Hill. (The one we were going to do but saved tons of $$$ by booking ourselves)

It rained hard all day yesterday and over night and it's still raining. The wind is not bad so I assume we will be going out. Orientation is at 8am and we'll get the scoop on everything.

Joe met his instructor (a Brit named Pete) and put together their plan for his 5 dives for his AOW. Now we're even thinking about doing the Nitrox course starting Thursday once Joe finishes his AOW. We're gonna think about that as it will be another $500 (2courses + Nitrox for the week for two).

I'll try to post since we can get a perfect conenction here in the restaurant as well as the lobby bar.

Bye for now

Hopefully the weather clears up. We are heading down to Reef House Saturday for a week of diving. We booked a last minute trip and can't wait to dive Roatan.
