I'm imaging a Knight, who had spent 6 months travelling across Europe and was finally ready to join the battle, accidentally dropping his sword into the sea. I bet the trash talk from his comrades lasted for the rest of his days. Which may not have been very numerous without his sword.

Not entirely different, but if I find a bottle of booze from the prohibition era, I’m not calling ATF…
I’m thinking Monty Python or Rowan Atkinson would have developed a pretty good skit with this had it occurred a few years back.
