Name: The Pinta was one of three sister ships named for Columbus' original three vessels, the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria.
Built: 1959, Netherlands
Specs: ( 194 x 31 ft ) 1000 gross tons, 12 crew
Sunk: Wednesday May 8, 1963
collision with freighter City of Perth ( 7547 tons) - no casualties

The Pinta is a nice wreck. Relatively intact and shallow enough so you can get some good bottom time while staying well within NDLs.

I'd head out your way but it's a ride from LI to NJ.
 
We'd love to have ya, if you ever want to come down! The Independence II is very comfortable (Giant stride entry, Carolina line, T-Ladder to come up) to dive off of and fast as well!!! Same thing for the GypsyBlood.
