Hey gang, I just stumbled across this and thought a few of you might find this interesting.

I just had an initial glance and have not read through it yet, but it has some nice initial pictures.

Pretty cool...I would definately love to dive the India and Japan sites, although when Cuba opens up to Americans I might want to do that one as well! If you look over high res sat photos of the area around Cuba all sorts of odd things leap out at you. One I would like to know about is a straight line that runs from just off of the tip of Florida up into the gulf. When sea levels were down 100 feet it was a totally different landscape all over the gulf...no telling what is down there!

Look on Google Earth at 24 degrees 49 minutes 01.16 seconds N and 81 degrees 9 minutes and 11.18 seconds West.

It was good until it veered into bigfoot-land with Atlantis. There are many wonderful things they could have picked as a number 7 without picking something made-up.

I saw a special on the history channel about those ruins in Japan. It was one of those shows that left you with more questions than answers.

And the article in question incorrectly calls the structure a pyramid. This reminds me of the "bimini road" where a documentary maker can find enough crazy people to make wild claims so that their documentary isn't boring.

Wow, I started looking more into these 7 "wonders" of the underwater world.

The Yonaguni "Monument" is actually naturally occurring according to real geologists. As usual, anytime crazy people see something that appears to have a straight edge underwater (like bimini road), they think they have found something.

The Atlantis/Antartica thing is just too silly to address.

The underwater ruins off of Havana, Cuba in that article also seem to be another false wonder. There are no ruins off Havana, Cuba. There are some large rocks that some crackpots think are Atlantis. This is why the picture above it is a computer image, because there isn't a real one.

The article is about half real ruins and wonders and half made up stuff.

In the actual Japan video I saw there was a carved head on the walls (incorporated into a corner) not just blocks.

Its not carved. Its just a piece of rock that has some spots that make it look like a face.

I saw it in the video, looked carved to me, it appeared on both sides of a corner block as I remmeber and is about 10-20 feet tall, not just a couple of spots...

The picture I am talking about was of divers in front of a wall leading to a corner, in relief on both sides of the walls leading to the corner was a face with a plumed headress. It is not shown in the article. I agree the one shown in the article could have been naturally formed.
