On 7/4 weekend we did some shore diving along the St. Lawrence River. The two locations for this trip were the Connestoga wreck near Cradinal point Canada, just across the border and the Islander wreck in Alexandria Bay, New York. The Connestoga wreck had mild current with visibility around 40 feet. The Islander wreck had minimal current and visibilty was around 60 feet. Both dives had water temperatures between 68-70 degrees with no thermoclines. Overall, both locations were good dives since anytime we can get in the water and dive is better than no diving at all! The non-divers in the group had a good time since we all stopped in Alexandria Bay for a nice dinner.
