Today's dive yielded a strange object on the ocean floor at 70 feet, possibly an old metal drum. There were plenty of critters living in and around it. Visibility was poor and a large ocean swell is building. Looks like diving may be trashed for a few days.

My definition of bad vis here on Maui is when the water is green instead of blue and I can't see what's around me when I am doing my three minute safety stop. That all translates to me being "bait"

I think those of us in the PNW would disagree with you on that one. If we had viz like that we'd be in heaven up here.
