The Anchors
This site was used by the US Navy during WW II to degauss ships. This was supposedly done to decrease the electrical pull the ships had to magnetic floating mines. A large float was connected to the anchors. An underwater cable ran from a shore based facility to the float. The ships connected to the cable to accomplish the degaussing.
