The reg was used on a pony bottle.
It wasn't used much and it's condition shows. It's been used and must be serviced prior to diving to ensure it's capable of supporting life underwater.

The Mk2 deserves more credit for being among the most robust 1st stages ever made, and for performing well enough for 95% of all divers...
We have some similar ones that have not been serviced in 20 years and still work (not for breathing, but to operate pneumatic drills, otherwise we'd service them) despite being dragged through sand and being neglected. These stages just won't quit...

Generation-1 with a "modern" (heavy) yoke swapped in on it..... Dives fine....
