If you take a full 3 mm wetsuit & 'add' a full 3/2 over it, how close will this be to a full 6/5 suit(assume all 3 suits are the same make & manufacture).........Does this work????...........

There's a reason I ask, years ago I did some winter diving here locally in Louisiana- got away from it but plan on getting back to it...Back then I had a 1/4" 2 piece(that no longer fits btw, wonder why????) and did fine in +/- 55 degree water......Currently have the 3/2 that I wear with a 2 mm shortie 'piggy backed' for late spring/summer/early fall time diving here---therefore wondering if just getting a full 3 would bring the 3/2 to about a 6/5.........TIA..................
