6/27 Maui pics

Beautiful shots, beautiful subjects. The eel is striking. I've never seen one. Are there reef colors that match him? Usually around here, things blend so well you have to look 3 or 4 times before you spot them.

This eel stands out as he/she does not match the reef colors.

awesome pics. Gilligan, where on Maui were these taken? I'll have to reconsider diving again next time I'm on Maui! love that snowflake eel.

These photos were taken in the Makena area off Makena Landing. No specific dive site. I stumbled upon the eel and the octopus in the same location while doing a random dive.
