Shot with Athena ringflash (a rare beast)
I always was a fan of the Oly 50mm 1:1 lens and often wonder if the 60 is not a bit too much reach. Looked at 90mm shots and I still prefer the look of shots like this one. Here is a shot from today, OM-1, AOI, Athena Ringflash, Leica/Panasonic 45 macro lens

We shoot the 30,45,60 and 90 macro lenses. For most things, I think the 45 has the best IQ, but focuses the slowest. The 60 is wicked sharp but would have been too much for this shot.I always was a fan of the Oly 50mm 1:1 lens and often wonder if the 60 is not a bit too much reach. Bill a 1:1 40/50mm oly lens would be almost instantaneous these days. I am amazed that there was nothing to be done in a software upgrade of the 60mm it can be a pain sometimes. We shoot the 30,45,60 and 90 macro lenses.
