Man what macros! Did you have addon lenses or just got veerry close to that fella? Enjoy your Tao trip. Hope you see a lot of whalesharks. Oh and try to keep those pictures coming when you get wet again in Thailand :D

The last shot I used the Inon add-on close-up lens. The other two of the turtle were with the macro mode of the camera. Yes, I was close to it. About 4 or 5 inches from its eye on the last shot. That's why I didn't use a strobe. The turtles in this area are use to humans and don't even flinch.

I got to dive in Maui for one week, a while back,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I remember it being one of my best dive trips....

I shot these at 40 feet just North of the Five Caves dive site in the Makena area.
 
I love the water in that first one. Have a great time, we'll miss you!
