Pretty much every diver knows about the action camera market and the well-known brands. A relatively new company (est 2015), Insta360 came to be because the founders wanted a better way to share experiences. They’d been searching for a 360 degree camera that would allow people to share great moments — not just snapshots or partial glimpses, but full, immersive moments. When they couldn’t find the right gear to realize that vision, they decided to build it themselves. And the result is a radical, new direction for action cameras.
