Squid Jigs have many sharp points. This is a sheathed holder for use when collecting discarded and lost Squid Jigs. Squid Jig Holder Sheathed by dadanddaughter

Seriously, collecting squid jigs can be quite taxing, your invention for pier diving however is quite ingenious

I played in the ruck against East Brighton, a league above us, at Hurlingham Park in 1973, we were thrashed
 
Yes, I collect these jigs while pier diving around Port Phillip Bay - Rye, Blairgowrie, Mornington, Mordialloc. They're everywhere.
