I do know some people (with all together too much money) who have both steel and aluminium plates. This means they can use steel for sea water and aluminium for fresh water and all other weighting stays the same. Very handy for doubles where you often don't need extra lead.andydiver06:As the price of Al and SS Back plate are same I should consider SS, 6 lbs = approx 3 kgs. So I would be needing only one 2kg block on my belt. That sounds great. I have to ask silent explorers about the difference in shipping cost. Thanks again for the advice.
The inflator needs some maintenance. True.BarryNL:It's stopped filling itself with air now then?![]()

I'll let you know in another six months or so if the DIR Zones have this problem too.El Orans:The inflator needs some maintenance. True.
andydiver06:How do you choose between a Halcyon Eclipse 30lbs MC or 40 lbs MC. What will be the lift difference for an average (weight) recreational diver for normal recreational use.
