Nice pics as usual Larry :)

So do you use a boat for diving there often? A bunch of us are headed down this coming weekend.

Wonderful as usual Larry. I really like those multi-species shots (#1) and the red eyes of the cabezon. I think that's your best ling cod photo (#4), nice quartering angle. I really envy how often you guys go out. Keep 'em coming, ++Ken++

Very nice, as usual, Larry! Thanks!

BTW, your "snail" picture has got to be one of the cleanest Kellet's Welks I've seen. The one's in our waters are usually covered in growth.

Can you share the meta-data on the photos, please?

Ian

Thanks, Ian, Kapula, Ken and Peter. Always appreciate the kind comments.
Peter, we try to get around most weekends, but Carmel is more exposed than the Bay and sometimes it's just too bumpy there and back and makes the trip out a bit long. Once summer hits, sometimes the fog can get nasty as well.
Ian, they were all taken at f5.6@1/60, with external flash only (YS-110 in Heinrichs ttl, and Sunpak slave with an optical cable) ISO100, 8mm focal distance. The EXIF for all my shots is available on my photobucket album, which you can access by clicking below. Sub-albums are by date and location. You have to click on the individual picture to get to the EXIF.
Ken, I'm starting to get the hang of the new strobe and figured out a consistent optical link to the Sunpak. I had the diffusers on both of them yesterday and it worked pretty well, so hopefully I'll be getting more and more pictures with proper lighting. Still working on strobe angle and distance to get rid of the glare spots, which I often have to reduce in PS.

Glad to see you're getting the hang of those strobes and that your system is finally working for you. Nice shots !!
