I picked up a very good condition SP Mk10+. I am looking for 2nd stages to go with this reg. The intention is to make it long hose + necklace configuration for UTD essential class in the future. Should I go with SP 2nd stage just for consistency? can I go with something else? Any recommondation without breaking the bank?

Used G250 would be the perfect match.
Also no reason not to use a HOG or Apeks.

how easy it is to have HOG service? Can it be done by myself? I called one of the dive ship near by my area. That guy there don't even know what HOG is, not to mention how to service them. It is my only concern for HOG.

I was also suggest Atomic Z2 2nd stage, how would you compare HOG to Z2 in terms of performance and reliability?

+1 for the G250
You can get the service kit at vintagedoublehose.
I'd concentrate on finding a G250 at a good price; if, along the way, you bump into a HOG, or an Apeks, or an Aqualung LX for cheap, why not. They're all the same design, and the seat from the kit above'll work with a couple of o-rings substitution.

G250, s600
