254 lb gar caught in Lake Texoma

This doesn't say exactly where on the Oklahoma side this fish was caught. I'd also be interested to know how old the fish was.

I remember seeing parts of really big gar in the red river above Texoma when I was camping and fishing as a kid. 254 pounds is BIG though. We took a lot of large cats and basket loads of sandbass home for dinner. Remember catching a aft shell turtle one time too.
