DGX has braided 48"ers for $24. Probably not worth buying second hand.

I'm looking for a bit longer long hose (under arm) than the 40" I have.

Are you super tall? One of the reasons for 40 inches is to comfortably fit under the arm and up to the mouth without a lot of dangle and risk of entanglement.

I'm not @deansrv72 but I too dive a 48 inch hose under arm because I was tired of my 40 inch getting caught up on my armpit. I'm 6'3" and mostly torso. The 48 works much better for me and still stays out of the way. I think trying it out is a worthy pursuit.

I understand it's not "standard" length, but this will be my primary and out of air donate. I prefer more than arm's length. I'm 5'8". To be fair, I haven't been in the water with either.

I saw that. Was hoping they would have a yellow one. It will be both my primary and donate reg. Unless there's some sort of (yellow) tape that i could wrap around sections of hose, and doesn't peel off under water.
