How about clams? Talk about HTG, you can't find a safe place to harvest clams anymore, anywhere in NJ.
Deja vu: The Last Howard Johnson's Restaurant in New England | Bangor, ME - Yankee Magazine (BTW, I was a night cook on the PA turnpike for HJ's about a million years ago) These guys faced the same problem and solved it, see story. I have the recipe.
Why no diver interest in the big offshore clams? I'm up to my neck in special projects, but I may have to book an inshore dive just to try this...
