Mark your calendars for the NACD’s 42nd Annual Seminar on November 5, 6, and 7 this year. As in the past years, it will be an informative and educational weekend. We have much information to share with you so this post will provide you with information on Friday. We will follow up with subsequent posts for the events on Saturday and Sunday (CCR Summit and Submerge Scooter Clinic).

On November 5, the events will begin at Ginnie Springs Outdoors (GSO) with two mini workshops. Bill Lester, the NACD Journal Editor, will conduct a Photoshop Tips and Tricks Workshop in the GSO classroom from 1 to 3 PM. After this workshop Wayne Kinard, owner of Amigos Dive Center, will conduct a Basic Knot Tying Workshop from 3 to 5 PM. You can learn to make your own stage bottle rigging, DPV rigging, line repair and learn to tie a variety of knots. If you are interested in either workshop, please contact me at pr@safecavediving.com. These workshops are open to all NACD members and seminar attendees free of charge.

At 6PM, the NACD will host a social for all members at the Ginnie Springs pavilion. The social begins with the 3rd annual chili cook-off (Hot, Traditional and Exotic categories). If you have an interest in bringing your winning chili recipe to the cook off, contact Ben Bright at brightb@gmail.com, or you may contact me. The social will continue with refreshments, food, and live classic rock music until 10PM. Make plans to join us, to see old friends, to meet new friends, and just to have a good time.
For more information and to register, click on the attached flyer below and/or go to National Association For Cave Diving. We hope to see you there.

Thank you to our sponsors who help make this event possible: OMS (OMS Official Site - Technical SCUBA Equipment http://www.OMSdive.com), Advanced Diver Magazine (Advanced Diver Magazine), Silent Diving (Silent Diving Systems of North America), and Extreme Exposure (Extreme Exposure - Home | Extreme Exposure).
