Favorite Dive: A night dive at an unnamed site near Komodo, Indonesia. There were just four of us and we turned off all our lights and just swam around in the moonlight and bioluminescence.

Least Favorite Dive: a particularly murky, and uneventful dive (in strong current) at Ko Saak, Pattaya, Thailand.

New Equipment Purchased: Oceanic Atom 1.0

Dive Goals for 2005: To be able to ascend the last 15 feet of my dive so slow that I rise from the water like the morning fog. I'm pretty good now, but I've seen people surface slower than Heinz Ketchup from a new bottle and want to get good enough to do that.

Coldest Water Dived: This is florida, 71 degrees F

Warmest Water Diver: I think 83

Dive Location Farthest From My Home: West Palm Beach

2004 New Certification / Education: Basic OW cert, Enriched Air, Advanced OW

Favorite Dive: First time at the Playpen in West Palm Beach. Saw a turtle, ray, moray, barracuda (he came close to smile and welcome me to diving) lobster...too much, I almost overloaded

Least Favorite Dive: Cert dive in DeLeon Springs, not a bad site, but just did not do anything for me

New Equipment Purchased: Half of it (the rest purchased this year)

Dive Goals for 2005: To continue to have fun and gain experience as I work toward some further education.

Other: At first I was upset that I had waited almost 40 years before trying this, but another diver mentioned that better now than never. Terrific sport, a new world calling to me to explore

Least Favorite Dive: They were all good-I'll have a least favorite for 2005.

Dive Goals for 2005: To slow my ascent rates, and to continue to hone my basic skills. I'd like to move beyond 100 dives (currently at 48), get Rescue certified, and work towards DM before I leave Monterey.
