20 years I waited... GLAD i finally did it

I have wanted to get certified for 20 years, and Finally made the time and money available to do so.

Oh My Goodness I am LOVING it... and still in classes. One more week to check out dives and I can't wait.

I am in Orlando, Florida, so working to try and find people here who dive as NONE of my friends now do.

I am also very pleased with this forum... Have already read a LOT of the posts, and glad to see so many knowledgeable and opinionated (In a good way) people who post here.

It doesn't matter how great you pictured it in your head. This, this is something that's going to absorb you like nothing had in your whole life. ENJOY!!!!!.......and dive safe.

Make sure you check out Florida Conch Divers. we are a very active group here. and when you come down to Ft Lauderdale or Miami let us know. There is always someone to dive with you and also have get togethers.

Welcome to the board from a fellow Orlandoan. If you get a chance you should try the Dive Quest in EPCOT although it's a bit expensive but it's the world's easiest dive.
