I have made the step today and acquired the second MK17/G250V, to get a more redundant setup (for now on, just on H valve, doubles will happen sometime in the future, but not now).

So, I have tried to route the hoses in the best way. I was considering initially to put them horizontally with all the hoses having a 'down' direction, but I have encountered a few problems:
- the HP ports are oriented at an angle towards the diver, so the SPG hose is pushing too hard (in my opinion) into the BC, and it looks stressed by the curved position it is forced to assume in order to reach the left side while mounted on the right post
- the left post second stage also looks stressed, because it is on the left of the tank, with the short hose, but needs to get to my right shoulder.

The only routing that I was able to discover was with the MK17s in the vertical position, so the BC inflator (fixed on the right post) goes over the left post, both second stage hoses are going to the right, and the SPG hose goes from the right post in front of the left post to my left. While it looks reasonably well, the hoses are not really going down as in most photos that I saw - but in all those photos the first stage seems to have a LP port on its bottom (not only on the lateral side).

Can you please help me with some advice here? Eventually some MK17 hoses routing (for either H valves or doubles), to get some inspiration?

I'll post some photos in the morning, as the camera's batteries are dead now.

I think I have found a second setup, in which the power inflator hose is curved at something more than 90 degrees (this could be improved if I remove the hose protector, but I'm not 100% sure if it is better to bend the hose tightly in the middle or to bend it less but near to the connector, and for some reason I feel that the first option, - in the middle -, might better than the second, - near the connector -).

I think this is one situation in which a miflex hose may be a good idea. While I didn't find them any more comfortable , you can stress those suckers as much as you want and they don't care.

As the local gallery didn't worked for some reason (I got the error: "/usr/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 0x95 -quality 80 -geometry 0x95 '/home/zephyr/public_html/gallery/data/500/thumbs/DSC007382.JPG'), I have used picasa to post the pictures:

Please let me know what you think about this hose routing and specially about that bent hose that can be seen in the pictures (that is the power inflator hose).
