1. No

2. Nothing unless the Steelers go back then.....well.....probably would not go anyway. Would not be as good as on the Big Screen.

I watch the SuperBowl every year. It doesn't matter to me who is in it (Other then the one time the Bears were there)
Since the game is here in Houston, I'm considering going ..and needed some feed back.

I wouldn't pay anything to be there. Like any professional sporting event it's way overpriced, the crowds are nuts. I'll watch it on TV IF there is a decent game being played, I don't care by who.

The biggest reason to watch it on TV is to see those high priced commercials. I'm eventually going to pay for them, might as well see what I'm paying for.

Natasha once bubbled...

That crossed my mind too about 6 months ago. I did some research on the tickets, saw the price and just about choked.

It's something that would be cool to go to just to say I did it, but not at the price of some of the tickets I saw (upwards of $3k).

no

about $500

The best price I saw was $1850 to get a nosebleed in the endzone. For that plus travel, lodging, food premiums, and missed time from work, I can buy one heck of a TV set.

I have actually seen the ticket prices and they are around 500-750 but by the time the bengals go only God knows how much they will be and I will pay....

On ebay they are showing end zone for 500.00.

I thought maybe after kick off the prices might come down. What do you think?

1) no

2) I wouldn't. I would not go unless I had a media credential to get me into the press box, and those are almost as hard to come by as the tickets are. I'd much rather stay at home and watch it (especially for the commercials).

Umm, Natasha...there are no tickets after kickoff. Everything is sold out by the time the game begins. And no sporting event is more closely scrutinized for bogus tickets than the Super Bowl. Best of luck in getting some tickets. I have a feeling you'll need it.

No tickets after Super Bowl kick off. Are you sure?
If that's the case I will probably have to watch it on TV too.
500.00 is a bit over my budget..I was hoping for half of that.

As I said before, no sporting event undergoes more scrutiny than the Super Bowl does when looking out for phony tickets. Anyone you approached that offered anything less than face value for their tickets would be highly suspicious. I would sincerely hate for you to spend your hard-earned money on tickets that would not get you through the gates at Reliant Stadium.

Call me cynical, but when you spend 21 years in sportswriting, as I did, you get to see all kinds of shysters lurking around the stadiums.
