1st Underwater Camera sketch

Here's a sketch of the first underwater camera housing.

Diving Museum shared it with us (Vivid-Pix) so we could RESTORE it.

Pretty cool. Love to see the first underwater photos!

Do you have any idea of what the housing was made of? Brass was the marine compatible material of choice in those days. I'm guessing it was a glass plate view-camera of some sort???
